After four months in the making, my updated course, The Law School Operating System™, is now available for purchase!

I've packaged everything I've learned into the most straightforward, "fluff-free" and logical course I could come up with on how to study and achieve academic goals in law school.

The LSOS™ presents you with a system based on my two decades of teaching experience, the experience of the 30,000+ people in my legal network, and the tens of thousands of data-points and study systems I have collected over the years while working with law students.

You can purchase the LSOS™ in two formats:

The LSOS™ Recorded Course: This course consists of 23 modules (3.8 hours total) that you can watch anywhere at your own pace, and you get a 78-page follow along workbook, five competency rubrics to assess how well you are doing study steps in the system, and a guide to memorizing in law school.

The LSOS™ Live Course: This course offers the same content and materials as the Recorded Course, but I teach it to you one-on-one, in a 3.5 hour Zoom session to answer your questions on the spot and customize the system to your needs.

What content is inside the LSOS™:

Here's an overview of the course!

Introduction: You learn the qualitative science behind the system and the 3 course goals:

    1. To develop a structured framework for each class topic
    2. To implement spaced repetition review techniques of every class topic throughout the semester
    3. To enhance your cognitive abilities through neuroplasticity, improving memory retention, information processing, and synthesis of the complex material in each class

Chapter 1: You learn the three most common ways to study in a manner that appeals to your learning and thinking preferences:

    1. Using metacognition
    2. Switching learning preferences based on the skill you're completing
    3. Customizing the study system to your needs

Chapter 2:  You learn my proven nine-step study system for mastering every class topic. For each step in the study system, I will:

    1. Provide a clear definition of the skill involved
    2. Explain its connection to the course goals
    3. Guide you through hands-on practice of the step
    4. Showcase examples tailored to diverse learning and thinking styles
    5. Offer customization options to suit your individual needs
    6. Provide actionable steps for immediate implementation

Chapter 3: You learn a system to schedule the nine steps into every week of your semester, ensuring you can track which study steps you've completed for each topic in all of your classes.

Bonus Modules: You learn how the nine step study system can be strategically applied to bar exam preparation, and, if you are struggling or on academic probation, I share my experience in overcoming academic probation to graduate with high honors and pass the bar on my first attempt.

3 ways I can help you succeed in law school!

Law School Brain vs. Real Life
Insider Tip: Law school feels like it takes up every cell in your body, but it doesn’t feel that way for anyone else around you. Challenge Yourself: Are your friends and family secretly wishing you’d dial down the legalese and stop the constant questioning? With finals almost over, I thought I’d take a break from study tips and switch things up here. If you caught my recent LinkedIn post, you...
Reduce Test Anxiety the Moment You Get the Final Exam
Insider Tip: You can beat or significantly reduce test anxiety by having a solid strategy when your professor hands out the final exam.   Challenge Yourself: Do you have a strategy to stay calm and focused when it's "go time"? The moment you've been preparing for has finally arrived—the professor hands out the final exam, and the clock starts ticking for you to showcase everything you've lear...
A Better Way to Rank Law Schools
Insider Tip: Attending a reputable law school isn't just about prestige or rankings. There are many excellent law schools beyond the top-tier list. Challenge Yourself: What makes your law school stand out? What unique opportunities, resources, or experiences make it worthwhile and excellent beyond its reputation?   Harvard or Bust? The rear window of my very first (used) car in high school fe...
